Puppy Adoption Process
Welcome to Stoneridge Farms' Puppy Adoption Process page. Here, we provide information on how you can bring home one of our Golden Retriever puppies. We strive to make the adoption process seamless and enjoyable for both you and your new pup.
First steps
To begin the adoption process, please contact us with your information as well as gender preference. We will work closely with you to choose the perfect puppy and answer all of your questions. We do reserve the right to deny adoption if we feel your home is not the right fit for the puppy.
Choosing Your Puppy
We require a deposit to secure your puppy. You are able to visit the puppies at any time, but puppies will be chosen in the order of deposits received. We provide information on each available puppy, including temperament and health history, to help you make an informed decision. If you are not able to visit the puppies in person, we will send videos and pictures to help with your decision.
Finalizing the Adoption
Once you have chosen your puppy, we will work with you to finalize the adoption process. This includes signing a non-breeding contract, scheduling a pick-up or delivery date, and providing you with all necessary paperwork and information for your new puppy. Puppies will be dewormed, have their first vet check and vaccinations, and will be microchipped.
